TB10 Tobago G-TZEE: For Sale

Due to the imminent arrival of a new aircraft, the Earls Colne TB10 Tobago G-TZEE is for sale. TZEE is a 1986 / 87 model with a 180HP Lycoming engine and a recent V/P prop.
TZEE can realistically be described as being in very nice overall condition. The aircraft benefits from a TTAF of approx 5,000 hours and TTE of only approx 1,000 hours, both as of Feb 2008.
TZEE has been regularly and professionally maintained to public transport category C of A standards. She will benefit from the issue of a new annual in March 2008. The avionics fit is comprehensive and includes such items as dual King Nav / Com’s, DME, ADF, G/S, Dual altimeters, Garmin GPS 100 sat nav, Garmin audio panel etc, etc. All log books from new are with the aircraft and are available for inspection by arrangement at Earls Colne.
Prospective purchasers should be aware of at least two particularly interesting purchase options for this popular aircraft:
- A normal syndicate could be formed for the purchase of the aircraft. TZEE could continue to be based at Earls Colne or indeed anywhere that the syndicate agrees upon.
- TZEE could alternatively be purchased by an individual or company and rented to pilots through AFC as per the current arrangement. TZEE is a popular local aircraft. This option represents a rare opportunity to own your own aircraft and have its running costs subsidised by continued rental.
I can confirm that G-TZEE will remain available for rental through AFC until sold. It is however hoped that any new purchaser will take advantage of the potentially significant opportunity to continue with the rental option through AFC. This would ensure that her regular pilots should have no concerns about her continued availability.
