Earls Colne Operations during
the Olympic period
Anglian Flight Centres at Earls Colne Airfield will be fully operational during the Olympic period (14th July to 15th August 2012). Flying training will continue as normal.
Some restrictions will be in force for visitors flying into the field, and home based pilots will need to attend a mandatory Olympic briefing run by Anglian Flight Centres, at Earls Colne Airfield.

Earls Colne Airfield is in the heart of the picturesque Essex countryside.
Anglian Flight Centres at Earls Colne Airfield has a team of dedicated and supportive instructors and ground staff and operate a variety of aircraft, with good availability for flying instruction and Private Pilot hire. To meet the team, see our staff gallery.
Here, you will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere at our club house, with plenty of coffee or tea to drink while you chat with other pilots and students about flying experiences.
We offer Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL) courses as well as ratings for night, aerobatics, and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).
Having learnt to fly, many of our members have continued training with us to an advanced level, and then gone into the professional world of instructor or airline pilot.
You are bound to make new friends whilst learning to fly, and will be able to get together once you have your licence to explore airfields further afield.
